I am excited about 2024! I am looking forward to what the Lord is going to do. We serve a great God, and He is always at work. His Word never returns unto Him void, and He always works to glorify His name. What a privilege we have to serve Him. He is at work in our lives, in the lives of the lost, and in His churches.

Praise the Lord for His sanctifying work in the lives of His saints! He never leaves us nor forsakes us. He works all things together for good in the lives of believers to conform us to the image of His Son. I am thankful for that, because I know the Lord works in my life and in yours to cause us to grow spiritually.

Praise the Lord for His saving work in the lives of the lost! The Holy Spirit never stops convicting men of sin, righteousness, and judgment. God is at work in our community and around the world. I look forward to more conversions in 2024.

Praise the Lord for His edifying work in His churches. Christ continues to Head His churches; and as they follow His Word, they grow. Greater ministry is happening through His churches and along with greater purification. There is a lot to look forward to in 2024—all because God is at work.

Christ the King

The birth of Christ, as recorded in Matthew, begins with a genealogy. Often genealogies in the Bible get overlooked because the list of names is (by and large) unfamiliar and seemingly insignificant.
