Jackson County Baptist Church operates under the authority of Bethel Baptist Church, El Sobrante, California and is led by Pastor David Sutton.
The Sutton Family
In August of 2021, Pastor David Sutton, along with his family, moved to Medford from Bethel Baptist Church in El Sobrante, CA, to pastor the church-plant work of Jackson County Baptist Church. Pastor Sutton and his wife Cathy joined Bethel Baptist Church in 1992 and taught in church's Christian school, which he led as principal for 24 years. In 2003 he was ordained as a pastor.
