Welcome to Jackson County Baptist Church
For All of Jackson County, Oregon
Jackson County Baptist Church is not pandering to conform to current trends, but to conform you and your family through the Word of God into the image of Jesus Christ with a view of His future kingdom and all for the glory of God.
In Brief: Who We Are and Why We Are Here
Jackson County Baptist Church is an unaffiliated, non-denominational, historical Baptist Church. Since the Lord Jesus Christ started the first church in Jerusalem in the first century, there have always been true, scriptural, and autonomous churches separate from a state church. During the sixteenth century, they became known as Baptist, independent, self-governing churches with the Bible as sole authority for faith and practice. Jackson County Baptist Church is in that line of churches.
Jackson County Baptist Church began in July 2020 in Jackson County Oregon based upon a combination of certain essential distinctions, some or all of which are missing in many other churches.

Gospel That Includes Repentance and Lordship
New Testament Church Discipline
God-Ordained Male and Female Roles
Exclusively Scriptural Methodology
More than ever in a decadent and decaying culture we need churches that will stand unapologetically on all of the Word of God and stop pandering to the spirit of the age.
How To
Decide
What Is
The
Right
Church
People have different reasons for choosing a church. They are comfortable, they like the people, the programs for children, the style of music, or the way it makes them feel.
In John 12:48, the Lord Jesus Christ said, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." Jesus said that He will judge everyone and everything based upon His Words. That is how Jesus Himself lived. He also said in John 5:30, "I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
Speaking of God, Revelation 4:11 says, "[T]hou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." God created men to do His will, not their own.
The right church for you is one where you can please God according to His Word. The only legitimate criterion for judging a church is scripture. The right church is one where you can please God by believing and practicing His Word.
Weekly Meetings
Worship Regulated By Scripture
Every meeting of Jackson County Baptist Church purposes to worship God according to His Word.
"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 2:5
"[P]resent your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:1-2
These are the assemblings of the Jackson County Baptist Church.
Sunday School
Sundays Starting at 9:45 am
Everyone gathers first for a congregational hymn, second a prayer, and third a time of Bible study until 10:45am, almost exclusively an expositional, practical series through a book of the Bible. To start, however, in Sunday School and on Thursday night will be a thoroughly biblical and practical series on the family.
Sunday Morning and Evening
Starting at 11:00am and 6:00pm
Everyone comes back together at 11:00 first for a psalm, second for prayer, third for a hymn, fourth an offering, and fifth the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, closed with prayer. The evening is very similar, a little shorter. Both of these feature almost exclusively an expositional series through a book of the Bible, starting with Matthew on Sunday morning and Acts on Sunday night.
Midweek Service
Normally Thursdays Starting at 7 pm
Everyone assembles again first with a hymn, second with prayer, third with an depth exposition of scripture, and fourth splitting up into a short time of prayer. Our midweek service on Thursday right now will be held at our building at 303 Middleford Alley, Downtown Medford. It is presently a series on the family.
